Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026 · Effective: 2 November 2026

  • Jobyx is an international hiring platform run by MANHIVE LLC, registered in the Republic of Armenia. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
  • We collect what you give us (your account, profile, CV and documents), what other users give us about you (for example, an agency that adds you as a candidate), and basic technical data needed to run and secure the service.
  • We use your data to run the platform: to match candidates with jobs, to let employers, agencies and applicants work on applications together, to send notifications, to take payments and to keep the service safe.
  • Employers can see a candidate profile in the platform. They see your contact details and full CV only when you apply, when your agency submits you, or when the employer opens your profile under a paid plan.
  • We use AI services to read CVs and to calculate match scores. A person, not the software, decides whether you are shortlisted or hired.
  • We do not sell your personal data and we do not use advertising cookies.
  • You can access, correct, download or delete your data at any time. Write to [email protected].

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1. Who we are

Jobyx (“Jobyx”, “we”, “us”) is operated by MANHIVE LLC, registration number 999.110.1594956, 3A Moskovyan St., 5th floor, Kentron, Yerevan 0001, Republic of Armenia. We are the controller of personal data processed through https://jobyx.org, the Jobyx web application (https://app.jobyx.org), our emails, and our support channels.

We process personal data under the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Protection of Personal Data”. Where we offer our services to people in the European Union or the European Economic Area, or monitor their use of the platform, we also follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to:

  • Applicants: people who register to look for work.
  • Agency candidates: people whose profile a recruitment agency adds to the platform, whether or not they have their own account.
  • Employer and agency users: people who use the platform on behalf of a company, including named contact persons.
  • Visitors to our website and people who contact us through live chat, email, WhatsApp or Telegram.
  • Representatives of companies whose basic business details we publish from public sources (see section 6).

Employers and agencies that download, export or copy candidate data out of the platform become responsible for that data under their own privacy obligations.

3. Personal data we collect

3.1 Account data (all users)

  • Email address, display name, role (applicant, employer or agency) and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
  • Phone number and whether it is verified.
  • Profile photo, if you add one.
  • Settings: language, time zone, date and time format, currency.
  • Two-factor authentication settings (authenticator app, email or SMS codes).
  • Records of your consent to these documents, with the date and time.

3.2 Candidate profile (applicants and agency candidates)

  • Full name, email, phone, location, citizenship, date of birth and gender.
  • Profession and occupation codes (ISCO-08), a summary, skills, work experience, education, certifications and languages.
  • Job preferences: availability, salary expectation and currency, preferred destination, countries you will relocate to, contract type and work mode.
  • Links such as LinkedIn or a personal website.
  • Agency verification status, for profiles added by an agency.

3.3 Documents

Files you or your agency upload, such as a CV, passport, visa or work permit, certificates, licences, medical records and contracts, together with document type, expiry dates, review status and reviewer notes.

3.4 Employer and agency data

  • Company name, website, location, description and logo.
  • Primary and secondary contact persons: name, role and phone.
  • Job demands: role, requirements, salary range, location, work mode, contract type, visa needs and any gender requirement.
  • Shortlists, saved candidates, decisions on applications, and requests for relocation help.

3.5 Activity on the platform

  • Applications, submissions, status changes and placements.
  • Match scores and their explanations (see section 5).
  • Messages in application chat and attachments.
  • Notifications we send you and whether they were delivered.
  • Saved jobs, saved employers and saved candidates.

3.6 Contracts and electronic signatures

When you sign a platform agreement in the app, we store the signed text, the values you entered, your name and email, your typed or drawn signature, the time of signing, your IP address and browser details, and checksums of the document. This proves who signed what and when.

3.7 Payment data

We store the package you bought, the amount, currency, payment status, transaction reference, refunds, and how you used your credits. Card details are entered on the payment page of our bank, Armeconombank OJSC (AEB). We do not receive or store your full card number or security code.

3.8 Support conversations

Messages you send us through live chat, the in-app support inbox, email, WhatsApp or Telegram, and the role you choose when starting a chat (applicant, employer or agency).

3.9 Technical and security data

  • IP address, browser and device details, and the time of sign-ins and important actions, kept in our audit log.
  • Error reports that may include the page you were on, your browser, and your user ID.
  • Cookies and similar storage described in section 13.
  • On our website, your approximate country, derived from your IP address, to show the right language.

4. Sensitive data

Medical records are health data, a special category of personal data. Passport, visa and identity documents need extra care. We process this data only to support a hiring or relocation process that you take part in, and only with your explicit consent, or where the law of the country of employment requires it.

  • Upload medical documents only when an employer or the destination country actually requires them.
  • Do not upload data about religion, ethnic origin, political views, trade union membership, sexual life or criminal records. The platform does not ask for it.
  • Gender is used in matching only when a job states a gender requirement. Employers must set such a requirement only where the law allows it.
  • Medical and identity documents are visible only to you, your agency, our administrators, and an employer you have applied to or been submitted to.

You can withdraw consent for sensitive data at any time by deleting the document or writing to us. This does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew.

5. AI, matching and automated processing

Jobyx uses automated tools to help people find good matches faster:

  • CV reading: when you upload a CV to create or fill a profile, the text may be sent to OpenAI to extract fields such as experience, education and skills. You review the result before saving it.
  • Match scores: we turn profile and job text into numerical representations (embeddings) and compare them with occupation, location, work mode, contract type, gender requirement and salary to calculate a percentage.
  • Match explanations: an AI service writes a short summary of how a candidate lines up with a job. It does not change the score.

Scores rank and suggest. They do not decide. Employers and agencies decide who to shortlist, submit, reject or hire. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

You can see the reasons behind every score. If you believe a score is wrong or unfair, you can correct your profile, ask us to review it, or object to profiling at [email protected]. OpenAI processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement and, under its API terms, does not use it to train its models.

6. Where we get personal data

  • From you, when you register, fill your profile, upload documents, apply, message or pay.
  • From recruitment agencies, which add candidate profiles and documents, one by one or by spreadsheet import.
  • From employers, about their own staff who act as contacts.
  • From our administrators, who can create accounts and review documents.
  • Automatically, from your device and your use of the platform.
  • From public sources, for basic company facts only (see below).

Agency candidates. An agency that adds you is responsible for having a lawful basis to share your data with us and for telling you about it. When an agency adds your email, we may invite you to create your own account. You can then view, correct or remove your data, or ask us to remove the agency's profile of you.

Company profiles from public sources. We may create a basic profile for a company using its name, address, general email and phone, and website, taken from public sources. Such profiles are marked as created by Jobyx. Company representatives can claim, correct or remove them. We do not copy descriptions, logos or substantial parts of third-party directories without permission. We keep a record of where each item came from.

  • Access your data and get a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data. Most data you can edit yourself in the app.

12. How we protect your data

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic.
  • Passwords stored only as salted hashes; optional two-factor authentication, required for administrators.

  • An audit log of sign-ins and important actions.
  • Access limited to staff who need it, under confidentiality obligations.
